The all North Leitrim Cup final between league champions Dromahair and Manorhamilton Rangers served up a cracking contest between two good attacking sides. Played in near perfect conditions in Balisadare before a large crowd, the game was streamed live to a large audience on Facebook live. Dromahair were the dominant side in the first half and took the lead from a Mathew Speers free kicked which was floated into the manor box. Ronan Kearns was on hand to tap in the opening goal. Dromahair should have increased their lead but were unable to convert their chances. Dromahair led at the break. Manor were a different team in the second half and came more into the game. Cormac Scarff won a penalty for manor early in the second half. The penalty was saved by Alan Casey. Manor equalised with Bruce O’Hagan getting on the end of a pass from Cormac Scarff for 1/1. With the game heading towards extra time Manor scored the winner with a sublime ball from Cian BOYLAN found Bruce O’Hagan who rounded the keeper and slotted home for 2/1.
