Manorhamilton Rangers U18 girls got their defence of the Sligo/Leitrim title off to a flyer with a comprehensive defeat of local rivals Dromahair Fc. The game started slowly with very little between the teams. Halfway through the first half Manor started to find their rhythm and raced into a 4-2 lead which they never surrendered. The second half was dominant by Manor and they ran out comfortable winners by 7/2. Goals from Eimear Keaney and a hatrick each for Megan Rooney and Anna Devaney enough to secure all three points. An even more impressive victory as Manor only have eight U18 girls registered this year with our U16 team supplementing the panel. Well done to management and girls.
